Hi all,

a couple of days ago I have received email from Cyprus, where Stavros 5B4AFM has asked me if the Weekender would support work via satellite like SaudiSAT-1C, i.e. operate on VHF and UHF. If interested read on...

I have confirmed that and went to do some tests.

Operation frequencies to work via satellite are:

The main question was whether Marko's PC SW for programming channels would "compile" such a large freq. shif of -290.9450 MHz that is needed for work via satellite.

After some testing and programming I was pleased with the result: all channels that Stavros wanted to have programmed were working flawlesly. I must confess that I did not test the Weekender on real satellite work, because I have no suitable antenna, but it all worked well with my VHF andf UHF radios on my desk :)

This "project" was done for newbies in Cypruss who will firstly solder the Weekender and then use it at their HAM oepration via satellite.
